The​ ​Joinhas​ ​are​ ​made​ ​of​ ​copper,​ ​sterling​ ​silver​ ​or​ ​brass.​ ​Any​ ​of​ ​these​ ​metals​ ​will​ ​oxidize​ ​with​ ​air​ ​contact.​ ​As​ ​I​ ​do​ ​not​ ​give​ ​any​ ​chemical​ ​to​ ​keep​ ​the​ ​color​ ​of​ ​metals,​ ​Joinhas​ ​will​ ​darken​ ​naturally.​ ​To​ ​keep​ ​them​ ​with​ ​a​ ​beautiful​ ​appearance​ ​you​ ​can:
​ ​Scrub​ ​it​ ​with​ ​steel​ ​wool​ ​(a​ ​thin​ ​steel​ ​wool)​ ​sold​ ​in​ ​any​ ​supermarket.​ ​Try​ ​to​ ​rub​ ​the​ ​steel​ ​wool​ ​only​ ​in​ ​metal,​ ​I​ ​usually​ ​put​ ​my​ ​finger​ ​on​ ​the​ ​stone​ ​and​ ​rub​ ​around.​ ​I​ ​advise​ ​to​ ​put​ ​a​ ​newspaper​ ​underneath​ ​because​ ​steel​ ​wool​ ​does​ ​many​ ​waste.​ ​Then​ ​wash​ ​the​ ​jewelry​ ​in​ ​warm​ ​water,​ ​you​ ​can​ ​use​ ​a​ ​toothbrush​ ​with​ ​dishwashing​ ​liquid​ ​or​ ​soap​ ​to​ ​leave​ ​it​ ​clean.​ ​Finally​ ​rub​ ​with​ ​a​ ​clean,​ ​dry,​ ​soft​ ​cloth.​ ​You​ ​can​ ​do​ ​this​ ​as​ ​many​ ​times​ ​as​ ​necessary.
