100 Cotton Bath Shower Loofah Puff
$19.48 USD
Primary color: 4. Dandelion
•This listing is for 1 Cotton Loofah which is Eco-friendly, Reusable, & Washable ♻️
•Measurements:
4x4 inches
2.5-3 oz while dry
Dimensions and weight may vary as they are handmade.
***Cotton is a natural fiber that likes to absorb water (like a sponge).
****It will NOT lather or suds the same as plastic or nylon loofahs.
There is a learning curve when it comes to use and lather.
•How to Use
***To use, it is best to saturate the pouf with shower or bath water. Give it a good squeeze or two or three ;) (do not wring it out like a traditional wash cloth to avoid damaging the loofah), then add your shower gel or body wash. Some users have said it acts & reminds them more of a sponge.
As previously stated, this will NOT act or lather the same as a plastic loofah.
***If you want this to act exactly like a store bought plastic loofah, this may not be for you.
Air dry your Shower/Bath Pouf in between uses.
Do NOT wring it out, but give it several good squeezes.
These guys are a bit dense. They may not dry completely between uses.
Due to this fact, this is how I dry mine between uses:
In the winter, I like to put mine over a heat vent and in the summer, I secure mine outside on my patio or balcony.
•Washing Instructions:
Although I have laundered the loofah/pouf in allergy-free detergent, I do recommend each pouf be washed prior to first use. NEVER use fabric Softener.
Machine Wash on cold with like colors(Reds, purples, darker hues, etc washed with dark colors)
Tumble dry on low or air dry.
For easier retrieval from your machine, a lingerie/delicates bag can be very handy.
It is common for cotton to shrink a bit in the wash, but a little stretch while they are wet works like a charm.
“Bleeding” of darker colors is common. This is due to the color dying process. Over time, it will no longer bleed, but if you prefer to stop this from occurring, place the pouf in a bowl of hot water with a good amount of white vinegar. Soak it overnight. The next day, rinse with cold water and squeeze out the excess water.
It is also common for cotton to “shed” a bit even after a few washes. This will not last long, but worth mentioning.
Face cleansers, toners, body washes, etc., may discolor or fade the cotton yarn.
Cotton Yarn is sourced from different manufacturers and some may initially feel softer than others. This will not change how the products work or feel when you are using them with your favorite soap and or body wash in the shower/bath.
Items/props in the photographs are not included in the sale of this Bath Pouf.
Colors may appear differently on different devices/screens.
It is worth noting that my Las Vegas, NV home is smoke-free.
